Kanaan Makeyya: all linked to Saddam should be ruled out from future government
Iraq, Politics, 4/9/2003
Kanaan Makeyya has considered that running Iraq in the phase after the war should not include any political or military official linked to the Iraqi President Saddam Hussein.
He explained to journalists in Washington that the new government in Iraq "should not include any senior official from the Baath Party, nor any of senior army officers," considering that the Iraqis suspected to have committed war crimes should be brought before the court for trial.
