New Jordanian ambassador to Russia

A royal decree was issued in Amman yesterday to appoint Jordan's ambassador to Israel Abdul Illah al-Kurdi as an ambassador for Jordan to Russia.
Al-Kurdi was appointed an ambassador to Israel but he did not assume his work nor submitted his credentials officially after Jordan had complained against the Israeli oppressive practices against the Palestinian people.
Since then, the Jordanian embassy in Israel is being run at a diplomatic level below that of the ambassadorial rate.
