Prince Hassan for playing a role in Iraq

The Jordanian former crown prince Hassan Bin Talal said he seeks to play a mediating coordination role to settle disputes and achieve reconciliation between different sides in Iraq following the war similar to the mission carried out by the representative of the UN in Afghanistan al-Akhadar al- Ibraheimi.
In a statement to the London-based al-Hayat daily issued yesterday, Prince Hassan denied to have had discussed with the US arrangements of scenarios to return back the royal regime to Iraq. He said "I am not a hireling for anyone to inspire a role as such."
