Al-Tureiki discusses with Arab counterpart, Moussa the war against Iraq

Secretary General of the General Popular Committee of the African Unity in Libya Ali Abdul Salam al-Tureiki on Monday evening in telephone calls discussed with the secretary general of the Arab League Amr Mousa and the foreign ministers of Yemen Abu Baker al-Qurabi, Sudan's foreign minister Mustafa Othman Ismael and of Algeria Abdul Aziz Balkhadem the grave situation in the Arab region as a result of the US- Britain aggression against Iraq and the course of this aggression which targeted women, children and the infrastructure in Iraq.

The Libyan official news agency said yesterday that al-Tureiki discussed during the telephone calls means of revitalizing efforts rejecting this aggression which is "in contradiction of all international norms and charters."
