Arab, foreign condemnation of the war against Iraq

Arab and the foreign world yesterday pursued their condemnation regarding the persistent US-British aggression on Iraq, which is perpetrating more and more barbaric acts that include innocent Iraqi citizens.

In Cairo, the Egyption daily al-Ahram condemned "the US-UK aggression on Iraq, which was launched under false allegations and slogans promoted by the US propaganda to justify its war on Iraq."

The daily commended the "heroic Iraqi resistance and steadfastness vis-a-vis the US-British aggression and called for the necessity of ending the terrorist aggression and the withdrawal of the invading troops."

In Riyadh, the Saudi daily al-Jazeera asserted that the Anglo US aggressive war on Iraq is in the interest of Israel and denounced the "persistent blind US support for Israel."

In Muscat, the Omani daily Oman "condemned the aggressive US-British war against Iraq and the invaders use of the internationally banned cluster bombs against innocent civilians."

In Doha, the Qatari daily al-Watan referred to the "heroic resistance of the Iraqi people vis-a-vis the invaders, whose schemes of war have been failed" adding that the war could last for a long time due to the resistance of the Iraqi people.

In Tehran, the Iranian daily Kihan al-Arabi asserted that the Iraqi peoples resistance and rejection of foreigners presence in their homeland and the ongoing events on the land of this enemy unveil the misleading lies of the invading troops and their miscalculations and the imposes in which they are trapped.
