Lebanese, Syrian Evangelic Synod condemn the war against Iraq

National Evangelic Synod in Syria and Lebanon condemned the "American-British aggression on brotherly Iraqi people and lands."

In a statement today, the Synod stressed that it supports all churches in the Middle East asserting that this aggression is a violation of the human values religious values and the conscience.

The statement also stressed that this aggression is based on false pretexts because the Americans themselves are using the weapons of mass destruction against Iraqi people.
