Syria-Jordan Committee on al-Wahda dam project

Syrian-Jordanian Joint Committee of Yarmouk has stressed the importance of achievement of Alwahda dam on Yarmouk river and considered it as a fruits of the Arab joint cooperation in field of joint water between the two states.

Possibility of issuing special cards entitling Syrian and Jordanian to enter Syria and Jordan during period of implementing the project and recompensing for taking the private properties to public use in the project region were also reviewed.

Syrian and Jordanian sides stressed the continuation of cooperation between them in fields of water and combating pollution.
