Al-Assad gets a telephone call from Chirac

Syria's President Bashar Al-Assad received on Saturday a phone call from his French counterpart, Jacques Chirac. "Talks during the call dealt with the latest development of illegitimate war on Iraq," Syrian offfical news said. Chirac stressed the firm stance of France which opposes this war.
