Foreign currency reserves $ 500 million up

The most recent report by the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) said the economic and financial status is improving as reserves of foreign currencies increased by $ 500 million between July-December 2002.
Non-governmental deposits, said the report reached LE. 298.2 billion whereas deposits in foreign currency amounted to LE. 80.2 billion.
