Saudi minister of interior denied a plane, missile explosion in al-Kharj base

Saudi Arabia's minister of the interior Prince Nayef Bin Abdul Aziz has denied the occurrence of any plane or missile explosion in al-Kharj base to the south of Riyadh on Monday.

He explained that what had happened was a common accident for a Saudi plane, noting that the Saudi airspace is the focal point of sides concerned with aviation in order to avoid risks that might be inflicted on it as a result of the war in Iraq.
