Red cross, Red crescent received only a few refugees since start of iraq war

Secretary General of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, Didier J Cherpitel, said the federation has received only a few number of refugees since the outbreak of war in Iraq, contrary to its expectations. Cherpitel told Morocco's first TV channel on Friday that "the federation expected at the beginning to welcome a first group of 250,000 refugees but only a few persons have arrived so far."
The secretary general came to Morocco at the invitation of Princess Lalla Malika, Chairwoman of the Moroccan Red Crescent.
