Syrian women observe a sit in in solidarity with the Iraqi people

Syrian women staged on Monday a sit-in in front of the Women General Union's headquarter in opposition to the American - British war on Iraq. They expressed condemnation against the "American - British terrorism against the Iraqi women and children."

Chairman of the Women General Union called upon all women in the world, international and human organizations to support the Iraqi people, to halt the aggression on Iraq and to avert the Iraqi people a catastrophic genocide.
