Al-Anba': Syrian Information Minister: relations with Kuwait are good

Syria's Minister of Information Adnan Omran stressed on Monday that the relations between Syria and Kuwait is good.

In a statement to the Kuwaiti al-Anba'a newspaper Omran affirmed that Syria has shouldered the responsibility of supporting the Arab causes and has been supporting Kuwait during the crisis which targeted Kuwait's security.

Omran added that Syria's media support the relation with Kuwait in the frame work of Syria's care for enhancing relations with all Arab states as well as Arab solidarity.

Regarding the American accusations against Syria that Syria has offered a military aid to Iraq, Omran said that American Secretary of Defense's declarations emerged from the American political, military and human confusion as a result of the American failure in the war on Iraq -- so he accused randomly Iran, Syria, Russia and many other states and he will accuse others stressing that what the American Secretary has said is "not true."
