On the Yemeni general elections

The number of nominees for the public elections which will be carried out in Yemen as of Sunday reached 776.
Source at the media committee at the Higher Committee for Elections said yesterday that the General People's Congress of the ruling party submitted applications for 288 nominees, while the Yemeni coalition party for reforms submitted the applications of 161 nominees and 77 nominees for the socialist party.
Moreover, the number of independent applications for nominees is 124, five women nominees and the other remaining figures are for other parties.
A media center was completed to provide media services in order to cover the elections which will be held on April 27th.
