The King had announced on Friday the opening of a bank account to collect voluntary donations by citizens to the Iraqi people.

Also, a toll-free phone number (080008888) is put at the disposal of people to enquire about procedures to give donations to the Iraqi people. The toll-free phone is operated for people wishing to obtain information about the fund-raising operation for the Iraqi people.

Meantime, the Moroccan national committee of support to the Iraqi People praised on Sunday the initiative announced by King Mohammed VI to open a bank account for people wishing to make donations for the Iraqi people.

In a release published this Sunday, the committee also hailed the massive turnout of Moroccans in the march held this Sunday in solidarity with the Iraqi people.
