Opening ceremony of Rabat, Arab culture capital to pay tribute to Iraq

The opening ceremony of "Rabat, Arab capital of culture," scheduled on April 2nd with the Arab Drama Spring as a curtain-raiser, will pay tribute to the Iraqi people.

Moroccan, Algerian, Iraqi, Libyan, Palestinian, Syrian and Tunisian companies will participate in the Arab Drama Spring, which will last till May 27.

Shakespearian masterpieces like King Lear and Moliere's Tartuffe, are scheduled for this encounter.

The Moroccan culture ministry had postponed the opening ceremony of this event, which was due last Friday.
