Moroccan speaker, french MPs probe legislative ties

Consolidation of cooperation ties between Moroccan and French legislative institutions topped talks held in Rabat on Friday between Speaker of the Moroccan House of Representatives, Abdelouahed Radi, and a group of French MPs from majority party of the Union for a Popular Movement (UMP).
Earlier on the same day, the French delegation, led by Jacques Barrot, held talks with Premier, Driss Jettou. They had also met on Thursday Interior minister, Mustapha Sahel on bilateral cooperation in consolidating democratic institutions and a larger participation of various components of the Moroccan society in the political arena.
