Maher summons Syrian ambassador in Cairo

Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Maher summoned Wednesday Syrian Ambassador to Egypt Youssef Ahmed, to whom he stressed the importance of avoiding any matters that might harm Egyptian| Syrian relations.
Maher affirmed to the Syrian diplomat Egypt's rejection of irresponsible acts that might endanger the strong relations serving the interests of the peoples of both countries.
Maher asked the Ambassador to officially convey to the Syrian authorities Cairo's dissatisfaction with the anti-Egypt demonstration that was staged in Damascus on Tuesday.
