Iraqi health minister announced Iraqi war casualties

The Iraqi minister of Health announced that 36 Iraqis were killed and 215 wounded in Wednesday's raids of the American and British forces against Baghdad.

In a press conference he held yesterday in Baghdad, the Iraqi minister said that the two missiles hit a popular quarters in northern East Baghdad resulted in killing 14 Iraqis and other 30 were reported as wounded. The largest casualties against Baghdad within seven days as from the beginning of the attack against Iraq.

The Iraqi minister added that more than 350 Iraqi civilians were killed and 3650 wounded since the beginning of the aggression against Iraq last Thursday.

The Iraqi health minister said that "most of those martyrs, are children, women and the elderly who are unable to protect themselves."
