Tureiki, Moussa criticizes stances of certain Arab states concerning the Iraqi issue
Regional-Iraq, Politics, 3/27/2003

Secretary General of the General Popular Committee of the African Unity in Libya Ali Abdul Salam al-Tureiki has criticized stances of certain Arab states which provides facilities and aid for the American- British aggression against Iraq.

Al-Tureiki stressed in a joint press conference he held yesterday with the secretary general of the Arab League Amr Moussa that there is no justification for any Arab state whatsoever to give facilities and aid for the aggression against Iraq. A matter which is considered as violation to the resolutions of the Arab summits in Sharm esh Sheik and the Arab foreign ministers.

For his part Moussa doubted the intention of certain Arab states, without naming them, which are trying to foil all Arab efforts. He stressed that the recent decision of the Arab foreign minister was strong in denouncing the American- British aggression and in demanding in a halt to the aggression and the withdrawal of the invading forces.
