In a message he had sent to his Jordanian counterpart Marwan Muasher, Sabri said that "at a time when we strongly regret these unjustified measures against our embassy in Amman, we strongly denounce that this acts is at the response of an American request."
Sabri added "we do prove that all your measures are in contradiction with the nature of bilateral relations between our two countries and peoples, besides they contradict categorically with the principles of the International law concerning the relations between the two countries."
