Egypt rejects expelling Iraq diplomats

Egypt rejected a US request for expelling Iraqi diplomats from Cairo and for closing the section of Iraqi interests.
Egypt said that the request contradicts with international norms, Geneva convention on diplomatic immunities and United Nations resolution 1441.
Foreign Minister Ahmed Maher had said comenting on this call that there is no thinking of it at all. Meanwhile, experts and international law professors underlined the illegitimacy and US President George W. Bush.
They said that only Security Council can impose sanctions on a member state and that US doesn't have the right in this request.
They added that this is considered an interference in the state sovereignty.
