Moroccan intellectuals denounces coalition's 'barbarous aggression'

A group of Moroccan intellectuals grouped in the "wisdom circle for thinkers and researchers" strongly denounced "the US-British barbarous aggression that seeks to destroy Iraq's cultural legacy."

The circle sent a release condemning the "massacre of innocent people and the destruction of historical monuments and civilian facilities" and the "looting of Iraq's wealth and annihilation of its scientific and creative potentials."

The group of intellectuals further calls for the immediate end to this "unfair" war, compliance with international conventions, heeding the appeal of peace-loving peoples and end this "unprecedented" tragedy in the history of humanity.

For the circle, the war is "a chapter in the new colonization plan."
