Moroccans express solidarity with Iraq in several cities

Moroccans marched on Sunday to express their solidarity with the Iraqi people in several Moroccan cities. In one city, Fez, 25,000 people took to the street in a demostrations that was called for by several political parties and civil society associations to say "No to war against Iraq" and "No to Genocide."

In Marrakesh (central Morocco), nearly 30,000 people expressed support to the Iraqi and Palestinian peoples and condemned the US-led war against Iraq. Some foreigners also participated in this demostration which was organized by political parties, trade unions and associations. Similar marches were staged in other Moroccan cities.
