Saudi Arabia releases Sheikh al-Zweir

The Islamic movement for Reforms ( al-Haraka al-Islameyah Lelislah), a Saudi opposition movement with London as a headquarters, said that the Saudi authorities released Sheikh Saeed al-Zweir who has been detained without accusations against him for 8 years.
The spokesman for the movement Saeed al-Faqih said it was learnt from the family of al-Zweir that he was released on Monday evening without any conditions.
Al-Faqih added that al-Zweir, one of the critics of the government had refused to give a written apology to the authorities for releasing him. al-Faqih added "he came out of the prison in honor and dignity."
