Algerian president, Lebanese parties support Iraq

Lebanese parties and national bodies asserted yesterday that the volume of dangers and threats which face the Arab states is increasing because of the crimes of U.S- Zionist terrorism.

The parties stressed, in an announcement, that the target of the U.S - British aggression against Iraq is to control the region and reshape its map.

The announcement asserted the necessity for continuing Syrian - Lebanese coordination and called Arabs to boycott the American goods.

Meanwhile, in Algiers, Algerian President, Abdul Aziz Butaflika, expressed his country's solidarity with the Iraqi people who face disastrous circumstances.

He said, in a speech delivered today, that the Iraqi People are suffering from a war that is a breach to the international law.

Earlier, the members of the Algerian Popular and National Council demonstrated near the American embassy in Algiers against the U.S-led attacks against Iraq.

The demonstrators carried placards demanding rapid halt for the aggression and calling for complete solidarity with Iraqi people.
