Continued demonstrations in Syria in protest of war against Iraq

Thousand of people in Damascus yesterday continued massive marches condemning the US and British aggression on the Iraqi people.

The participants went through Damascus streets condemning the brutal US and British aggression on the Iraqi people calling for rapid efforts to stop the war and support the Iraqi people in confronting this aggression.

The participants carried placards condemning and denouncing the war on Iraq and shouting slogans rejecting the war and demanding an immediate stop to it.

Also thousands of university students in Aleppo participated in similar marches condemning the US war against Iraq.

Al-Raqqa city witnessed a popular march protesting the US war against Iraq.
