Rabat postpones launching of Arab culture capital events

The Moroccan culture ministry it is postponing the official ceremony launching of "Rabat, Arab capital of culture" that was scheduled for Friday in Rabat.

The event was slated to be launched at a ceremony in the presence of culture minister, Mohamed Achaari, and director-general of the Arab League Educational, cultural and scientific organization, Mounji Bousnina.

The "Rabat, Arab culture Capital," to run throughout the year, features several events, including the Arab drama spring, Arab poetry festival, Arab cinema month, Arab song festival and others.

In a previous meeting, the Moroccan culture minister said the event will have a cultural dimension and will seek to increase the low cultural exchanges among Arab states.
