Iraqi rejection for amending the oil for food program
Iraq-UN, Politics, 3/24/2003
The Iraqi vice president Taha Yassin Ramadan yesterday stressed Baghdad's categorical rejection of the plan of the UN Secretary General Kofi Annan's amended concerning the oil-for-food program.
In a press conference he held in Baghdad, Ramadan criticized Anna's decisions before the beginning of the American- British war against Iraq. He stressed that the majority of the UN Security Council member states announced they are against the aggression despite all pressures from the US and Britain at the UN security council.
