Kuwait denies to have forces in Um al-Qaser

The official spokesman for the Kuwaiti army Col. Youssef al-Mulla has denied what was quoted by the media that there are Kuwaiti forces in the Iraqi area of Um al-Qaser, stressing that this news is groundless.
The Kuwaiti spokesman said in a press statement that Um al-Qaser has two northern and southern sides. One is situated inside the Iraqi border which is the northern one while the southern one is inside the Kuwaiti territories.
He explained that Um Qaser area which is situated within the Kuwaiti territories is the area where the Kuwaiti forces are deployed.
