Continued demonstrations in Damascus in protest of the war against Iraq

Thousand of citizens and university students in Damascus on Saturday participated in mass marches condemning the aggressive war on Iraq. During the marches, the participants carried national flags and placards written on them "We want peace," "No to war on Iraq" and "Stop the aggression."
The marches went through Damascus streets shouting slogans denouncing the US and British aggression on Iraq.
