Iraqi soldiers surrendered to the Americans

An American military source in north Kuwait's desert announced yesterday that thousands of Iraqi soldiers in the south east of the country are ready to surrender to the American forces.

The same source said that it seems that the soldiers are from mechanical contingent 51 and the 11th Iraqi troop contingent are ready to surrender.

Worthy mentioning that hours before the beginning of the war on Wednesday, some 18 troops of the Iraqi border guards surrendered to the American forces in North Kuwait desert.
