US agreed to reschedule due Jordanian debts

Jordanian sources said yesterday that the US has agreed to reschedule some 177 million dollars of due debts Jordan has to pay out of a total sum of debt of 288 million dollars.
These sources noted that signing the agreement provides for rescheduling the said debts will be next Sunday at the Jordanian ministry of finance.
The sources, which said that the US gives additional aid to Jordan to avoid it the implications of the war against Iraq, expected the volume of Washington's aid to Jordan in 2004 to be 450 million dollars.
