One Israeli settler killed, Sharon stress continued aggression against the Palestinians

One Israeli settler was killed in confrontation that took place yesterday between several Israeli settlers and Palestinians to the north of Nablus, while the Palestinian resistance fighters opened fire and two anti- tank missiles against the Israeli army in Rafah.

The Israeli soldiers opened fire and shelled against the Palestinian houses and an Israeli force incurred in Eisan town to the East of Khan Younis and besieged a position for the Palestinian security and arrested five of its members, while the Israeli forces launched a campaign of arrest that targeted 18 citizens from the people of the West Bank and Gaza.

Meantime, the Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon said that Israel will proceed with its military campaign in the occupied Palestinian territories.

During a meeting for the Israeli cabinet, Sharon claimed that Israel has no hand in the war against Iraq. He explained that Israel has taken all necessary steps on precaution of this war. He hoped that the American war against Iraq will succeed.
