Jordan denies Israeli forces on the Jordanian- Iraqi borders

The Jordanian minister of information has denied what was stated by certain media on the existence of Israeli forces along the Jordanian- Iraqi borders.
The Jordanian minister added that such news aim at undermining Jordan's national stances, stressing that Jordan has exerted tremendous efforts, known to all, in an attempt to avert Iraq and the region the war and its implications. He added that Jordan had also made similar efforts to prevent Israel from taking part in a possible war against Iraq.
He stressed that Jordan will not be a side, nor a starting point for taking part in a war as such.
