Libya's FM talks with Moussa, Hammoud

Secretary General of the General Popular Committee of the African Unity in Libya Ali Abdul Salam al-Tureiki discussed on Monday evening in two telephone calls with the secretary general of the Arab League Amr Moussa and Lebanon's foreign minister Mahmoud Hammoud the developments of the grave conditions in the region especially the threats against the Iraqi people and the Palestinian people.

The Libyan official news agency said yesterday morning that during the two telephone calls stress was laid on the importance of taking a united Arab position that averts the region and the world the consequences of war.
