Qatar's ruler, King of Jordan discuss reconciliation, current developments
Qatar-Jordan, Politics, 3/18/2003

A round of talks was held yesterday at al-Wajba palace in Doha between the Amir of Qatar Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa al-Thani and the King of Jordan Abdullah II during which the two leaders reviewed cooperation relations between the two states and means of strengthening them.

Discussions also dealt with issues of mutual concern, especially the developments of conditions. The talks were attended by Qatar's crown prince and the foreign minister and members of the Jordanian delegation accompanying the king in his visit.

Sources of the Jordanian delegation accompanying the Jordanian King said that a new phase of Jordanian- Qatari relations will start, especially an agreement between the two sides to revitalize finalized bilateral agreements in the framework of the joint higher committee between the two states.
