Continued Israeli aggressions against south Lebanese areas

The Israeli warplanes yesterday continued violation of the Lebanese sovereignty, as several Israeli jets flew in the airspace of the eastern sector of south Lebanon at low altitudes and carried out provocative raids and broke the sound barrier.

Israeli helicopters also flew in the airspace of the occupied Shebaa lands and al-Houla lake.

Lebanese security sources said the Israeli violations coincided with heavy shelling from the Israeli positions in Rweisat al-Alam, al-Sammaqa, and al-Ramtha targeted Bastara farm, Bab al-Hawa and Burket Bathayel.

The Israeli forces also carried out live ammunition maneuvers in Shebaa farms area.

The sources indicated that the heavy machine guns and artillery shelling were heard in the adjoining Lebanese villages and towns.

Meantime a landmine of the remains of the Israeli occupation forces went off in al-Khardali area in south Lebanon when a bulldozer was working in the area and resulted in damaging it.

The leadership of the Lebanese army called on citizens living in Marjyoun, Tyre, Bint Jbeil and Hasbaya to notify the Lebanese army centers in their areas about mines and suspicious objects to for the landmine dismantling teams.
