OIC special groups calls for activating Israel's boycott

The group specialized in affairs of Israel boycott in the Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC) called on adopting the necessary procedures for activating the political and economic boycott of Israel.
In a statement issued in Riyadh on Monday, the group condemned "the Israeli brutal practices perpetrated against the Palestinian people."
The statement expressed the absolute opposition of the current preparations for attacking Iraq calling for working on preventing a war and keeping Iraq's territories stability, security and sovereignty.
In Cairo, Director General of the Islamic Organization of Education, Science and Culture, Abdul-Aziz Al-Tweijeri underlined the necessity of enhancing and activating Arab and Islamic media role for confronting campaigns of Zionist and some western media.
He said that such campaigns aim at "deforming image of the Palestinian people strife against the Israeli brutal practices and image of the Arab just and legitimate rights in front of the public opinion."
He called for the establishment of a complete change in mechanism of Arab and Islamic media work and ways in dealing and addressing the public opinion in the West.
