Moroccan carrier launches 85 new lines starting next April

Moroccan airline Royal Air Maroc will launch, starting next April 1st, 85 new air lines

Under the program, meant to support Morocco's tourism promotion plan that ambitions to attract 10 million tourists by 2010, the state-owned RAM has received last January a Boeing 737 700 and will be operating starting in July a new fleet of Boeing 737.800 jets. In 2002, it has purchased two Boeing 767 that are servicing north America and the Middle east region.

RAM also says it projects to purchase between 2003 and 2012 two Airbus 321-200 and 20 new generation Boeing 737 (two a year).

The new lines will link French cities (Paris, Marseille, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Metz and Nice), Frankfurt, Zurich and Geneva to the Moroccan cities of Oujda, Agadir, Fez, Casablanca.
