Riyadh: our position has not changed. We are against the war
Saudi Arabia-France, Politics, 3/17/2003
The Saudi minister of defense minister prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz has stressed in a joint press conference on Sunday with the French Defense minister in Jeddah that the "Kingdom's position has not changed. We are against the war, anyway and at any form. We also consider that peaceful solutions are better. And this is Saudi Arabia's stand."
Replying to a question on the content of the message handed over by the French defense minister to the Saudi crown prince, Sultan said it was a message for "confirming the permanent Saudi- French friendship and highlighting France's stand which calls for international legality."
