Jordanian King confers with UAE President
United Arab Emirates-Jordan, Politics, 3/17/2003
President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, on Saturday in Abu Dhabi received the King of Jordan Abdullah II. The UAE news agency said that during the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on the developments of conditions in the Gulf region and the Iraqi crisis as well as Palestinian developments.
On the other hand, Abu Dhabi's crown prince Sheikh Khaleifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan discussed with King Abdullah relations between the two states and means of strengthening them for serving common interests as well as Jordan's participation in Abu Dhabi international conference for Defense which was opened yesterday.
Sheikh Khaleifa also discussed with the Jordanian prime minister Ali Abul Ragheb the level of relations between the two states and several issues of mutual concern.
