Egyptian economic delegation heads for the USA

A high ranking Egyptian economic delegation left Cairo yesterday for the USA to hold talks with American officials on financial and economic issues.
The delegation will submit to the American delegation a detailed official report from the Egyptian government on losses Egypt will suffer in case a military act is launched against Iraq.
The delegation will also brief the US administration on Egypt's needs to a set of urgent financial, and economic aids to withstand the negative consequences of the war against the Egyptian economy.
The delegation is composed of the ministers of finance and state for foreign affairs and international cooperation and the chairman of the economic committee at the ruling democratic national party in Egypt.
