New sahara-maghreb association set up

An association named "Sahara-Maghreb" was recently set up by several civil society militants and associations "to contribute to Maghreb construction and settle regional conflicts."
The group, gathering Moroccan members so far, intends to highlight some basic principles in such as to activate the unity and conciliation process. It intends to enlarge its membership to the Maghreban circle in order to initiate dialogue between the concerned parties, through civil society representatives, the new association says in a release.
The association will hold a press conference in Casablanca March 25 and a seminar in the same city next April 18-90 under the theme "regional construction and conflict settlement."
