RAM airliner to receive two A321 boeings next november

The Moroccan national airliner RAM will receive next November two new A321 jets, the company's head of engineering sector, industrial accords and marketing, Khaled Bendahou, on told MAP Tuesday.

The delivery is part of RAM's program to purchase two 737 700/ 800 Boeings a year starting from next July. Part of the program, RAM will also receive two similar airplanes on 1st May 2006 and 1st May 2007, said Bendahou.

RAM, which operates a 30 jet-fleet, services 65 destinations in 32 countries. In 2002, it carried 3,357,124 passengers.

For 30 years, the overhauling and maintenance of its airplanes are conducted in the aeronautic industrial center of Mohammed V airport in Casablanca (Morocco's economic capital).
