A Lebanese diplomatic source has ruled out the participation of the Syrian and Lebanese foreign ministers in a visit to be held by the Arab committee emerged from the Arab summit to Baghdad, amid the vagueness overwhelming the nature of its mission in Baghdad.

The source told the Lebanese daily al-Mustaqbal in yesterday's issue that Syria and Lebanon have made efforts in order to convince other states, member in the committee to wait for the results of the voting session at the UN security council before heading for Baghdad.

A high ranking Lebanese source told the paper that there are fears of having Iraq being seen as a rejecter to an Arab summit to avoid the war in case the Arab committee heads for Baghdad without clear agendas, which is a difficult matter to be defined before the UN Security Council session concerning voting on the British- American draft resolution legitimizing war against Iraq.
