Arab League: ministerial committee relayed to US rejection of war option

Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa stressed on Monday in Cairo that the Arab Ministerial Committee emerged from Sharm al-sheikh Summit affirmed to US Secretary of State Colin Powell the constancy of Arab opposition to a military act against Iraq and the necessity of solving the Iraqi crisis peacefully.
In a statement Moussa said that the committee stressed also that the mission of the Committee is to defend aggression against any Arab state.
