Al-Ahram: US may know of illigal weopan in Iraq because it supplied them
Iraq-USA, Politics, 3/10/2003

Former Egyptian Prime Minister Mustafa Khalil said that the law of nations would be enforced in case of the contradiction between the Egyptian-Israeli peace accord and the joint Arab Defense Treaty.

Khalil, in statements to Al-Ahram, said the United States might know Iraq's Weapons of Mass Destruction as there are possibilities indicating that Washington supplied Iraq with such weapons during the war with Iran.

Khalil, who also double as Vice Chairman of ruling National Democratic Party (NDP) said the United States should spare no efforts to render the Palestinian-Israeli talks success.

As to the five-way Arab committee, he stressed that the committee should pursue efforts to clarify the Arab viewpoints in the United Nations.
