Palestinian resistance retaliates by al-Qassam missiles, Israeli forces bomb homes
Palestine-Israel, Military, 3/10/2003

The Israeli armed forces yesterday continued attacks against the Palestinians, who retaliated by bombarding Sderout settlement with al-Qassam missiles.

Meantime, the Palestinian Ribhi Obeid ( 50 year old) from a village near Toulkarem was killed yesterday as an Israeli shell went off in a field.

The Israeli forces also occupied the houses of the Palestinian citizens Mahmoud Omran, Salim al-Qawasmeh, Sufeian Jreiz and Hazem al-Qawasmeh under the pretext that two of them carried out acts against the Israeli forces.

The Israeli forces also demolished the house of the Palestinian Mahmoud Abu al-Roub, the commander of the military wing in the Islamic' Jihad movement, who was arrested by the Israeli forces on charge of resisting the Israeli forces.

Meantime, the Israeli soldiers launched a campaign of detention that targeted scores of the citizens of Hebron, Um al-Fahm and al-Nasera and opened fire at unarmed Palestinians in Beit Lahia and this resulted in grave wounds among four people.

The Palestinians, for their part, retaliated by launching al-Qassam missiles against two Israeli settlements in the downtown of Gaza.

Ezz Eddine al-Qassam groups of the Hamas movement announced responsibility for these operations, stressing continued resistance until the occupation is eliminated.
