King Abdullah meets with Sharon

Israeli sources disclosed yesterday that the Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon had met during 2002 for several times with the Jordanian King Abdullah II.
The Israeli radio said yesterday that the last meeting held between Sharon and King Abdullah was in Amman three months ago, just before the Israeli elections. The Israeli radio added that the two sides discussed the political steps Sharon had intended to take at the Palestinian level. The two sides also coordinated stances concerning the Iraqi file, the radio added.
